A Director of Team
D/E/S and also a founding Director of the EcoDesign Foundation. Anne-Marie has ten years
experience in design for sustainability, has acted as environmental manager for large
design and construction projects including two for the Sydney Olympic Games and has
specialist knowledge of low impact materials, environmental life cycle assessment, energy
conservation and waste minimisation. She is a very effective communicator, with an ability
to adapt her wide knowledge to a clients context. Clients she has worked for
include: Brambles, Denton Corker Marshall architects, Ryder SJPH Architects, Olympic
Co-Ordination Authority, Interior Directions, Australian Building Energy Council, Inner
Sydney Waste Board, Bankstown City Council. Anne-Marie gained an MA honours with the
Sydney University Medal in 1987 and has taught at University of Sydney, Monash University
and UNSW. As a consultant to design projects she also draws on extensive experience as a
researcher, editor and writer of many acclaimed publications. >
